Join Volunteer List

Please consider joining us for the MRTF’s Day of Service this year. We will be working on projects in different parks in Indiana to beautify spaces, enhance the community, and promote the mission of our organization. We are looking for individuals or crews who would be able to donate a day to the park listed below. If you are interested in volunteering or want to be on the contact list, please be sure to use the button above to join the list!

October 1, 2023: Abby & Libby Memorial Park (Delphi, IN) 10:00am – 3:00pm

This year’s project wish list:
Wishing well lawn feature-construct wooden wishing well with provided materials, dimensions are like 24″ diameter and about 5′ tall and install landscape stone underneath the wishing well

 

Install mulch in various locations around the park for example:  around backstops, under ornamental trees, park benches and by playground areas

 

Install a 2 post donor recognition sign possibly similar to the one that was installed last fall near walking trail and entry road into park

 

Paint baseball shed (weather permitting)

 

Finish up temporary ballfield fencing project

 

Repair pitching plate areas of the 3 ballfields (dig out old infield material and install either field armor plates or Astroturf, install new infield material)
