Thanks to everyone who attended and helped make the 2004 Midwest Regional Turf Field Day a success on Tuesday, July 27. A clear day with temperatures in the 70’s was almost perfect for the nearly 700 attendees. Attendees had the opportunity to view the latest in turfgrass research, visit with Purdue specialists, see the most modern equipment and technology offered by exhibitors, and attend an afternoon workshop on turfgrass identification. The success of this Field Day is due to extremely generous help from many Purdue faculty and staff as well as the unselfish help from the Midwest Regional Turf Foundation Board of Directors. It’s never too early to mark your calendars for next years Field Day on July 26, always the last Tuesday in July.
