This course provides basic training for turfgrass management professionals hoping to gain an understanding of the essential chemical, biological and environmental properties of insecticides and how they impact management decisions, application techniques, insect targets, and environmental health and safety.

This course covers managing soil insects like white grubs, provides basic training for turfgrass management professionals hoping to be able to identify white grubs associated with turfgrass, understand the biological characteristics that make them pest, and be able to formulate effective management strategies.

This course explores the essential properties of fungicides, their basic functions and limitations, and how they should be safely implemented into an integrated disease management program.
