Great Education/Tradeshow at the Turf Expo – Turfgrass Science at Purdue University

Great Education/Tradeshow at the Turf Expo

The Midwest Turf Expo will be held on January 19-20, 2005 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. An outstanding educational schedule compliments a rapidly filling tradeshow held in conjunction with the Indiana Park and Recreation Association. A GCSAA Seminar on understanding soils kicks off the Expo on Tuesday afternoon. Concurrent educational sessions begin on Wednesday morning and run through Thursday afternoon featuring speakers from across IN and the country including Peter Landschoot (Penn State), Paul Vincelli (Univ. of Kentucky), and Mike Richardson (Univ. of Arkansas). Three-hour workshops are held on Wednesday and Thursday morning including topics covering calibration for lawn care, sports turf, CPR, equipment maintenance, pesticide handling, and transplanting trees. Special one-day registrations are available at very reduced prices for lawn care technicians, sports turf, and arborists; a great cost-effective way to bring the whole staff! GCSAA educational credits and up to nine CCH’s in Cat 3b can be earned depending on workshops and sessions attended. If you did not receive registration information in the mail, it is also available at https://turf.purdue.edu//
